it combines highly trained singers, chorus, a full orchestra, and elaborate sets and costumes. Ticket revenues, however, cover less than one-third of the production costs.

Annual Fund

Tax-deductible Annual Fund contributions support our productions, which range from the classic to the offbeat, all at affordable ticket prices starting at $25, with additional discounts for seniors, youth, and active military. They also support our Young Artists Program and our Education Programs, including Student Night at the Opera, which sees our theaters packed with students enjoying their annual opera performance.

There are many ways you can give to the Annual Fund:

  • Through a one-time annual donation
  • Monthly: your gift can be broken down into monthly installments which we can charge directly to your credit card, making it possible for you to have a large impact on the Opera without having a large impact on your monthly finances.
  • Multi-year pledge: making a multi-year commitment to Tacoma Opera helps us plan future seasons, knowing we can count on your support. And you will only hear from us once a year, to remind you of your annual pledge.
